("Zelyn," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share when visiting our website and interacting with the Naya™ reflection experience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies specifically to this early preview experience. Future versions of the product may be governed by updated policies.

The preview experience is currently intended for users located in the United States and select international regions.

Our Privacy Position

The Naya™ early preview is built on four core commitments:

No accounts — you do not need to create a profile.
No identity linkage — we do not link any anonymous behavioral interaction signal to who you are.
No identifiable health records or clinical data — we do not collect or store medical histories, diagnoses, or clinical information.
Anonymous analytics only — we collect anonymous behavioral interaction signals to improve the experience.

1. The Nature of This Early Preview

The Naya™ experience is an early preview reflection tool designed to help visitors notice and reflect on personal biological transitions. It is an informational tool, not a medical service. The privacy practices described here apply to this early preview only.

2. Information We Collect

A. Email Address (Optional & Isolated)

If you request an invite for future access, we collect your email address. This information is stored in a secure, isolated database used solely for notifications. To protect your privacy:

Your email is never sent to our behavioral analytics platform.
Your email is never linked to your reflection sessions or interaction data.
An Air-Gap is enforced at the technical level between the email database and all behavioral analytics.

B. Website Analytics & Engagement Signals

We collect anonymized analytics data to understand how visitors interact with the site. This data is never linked to a personal identity or email address. It includes:

Session & Engagement: Session starts, completions, and article engagement duration.
Insight Feedback: Your "Yes/No" response to whether a reflection felt insightful (collected once after Round 1 only, as an anonymous signal).
Path Logic: Anonymous entry path signals used to ensure the reflection experience is functioning correctly.

C. Cookies and Local Browser Storage

We use first-party cookies and local browser storage to operate the site and ensure the quality of the experience.

Functional cookies Manage reflection timing intervals between rounds. Store only technical timing state. Contain no personal or health-related data.

Journey state (local storage) Maintain your round progress across visits so the experience resumes correctly. Upon completion of Round 4, a preview-exhausted flag is set so future visits reflect that the preview has concluded. Clearing browser storage or using a different device may reset this state.

Analytics cookies Help us understand site usage patterns such as page visits and session length.

Preference cookies Remember non-sensitive UI settings. Retained for 30 days.

You may disable cookies and clear local browser storage through your browser settings. Doing so may reset your round progress or affect how the experience manages session timing.

D. Naya™ Reflection Interactions (Turns 1–4)

To improve the quality of the reflection experience, the system collects anonymous behavioral interaction signals during each session. These signals may include:

Reflection selections made during each turn of the experience (Turns 1 through 4), recorded using anonymous category codes only.
Anonymous path signals used by the reflection logic.
Reflection round completion events.
A single feedback signal indicating whether a reflection was helpful.

These signals are recorded using anonymous category codes only. They do not contain descriptive health text, free-text responses, or personally identifiable information, and are never linked to your identity or email address.

Important safeguards:

No user accounts are required.
No identifiable health records or clinical data are created.
No persistent user profiles are generated.
Interaction signals are never linked to your email address.
Anonymous behavioral interaction signals are collected as individual events and later analyzed in aggregated form to improve the reflection experience.

3. How We Use Information

To operate and maintain the website.
To improve the Naya™ reflection logic and content quality.
To notify users who request an invite about future availability.
To prevent system abuse and ensure session timing intervals are respected.

We do not use this information to make medical decisions or provide clinical services.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the site, including website hosting and analytics platforms. These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard information and use it only to provide services to Zelyn.

Third-Party Analytics Providers

We use third-party analytics services to help us understand how visitors interact with the website and reflection experience. These providers process anonymous interaction data on our behalf to generate aggregated insights about site usage and engagement. They do not receive your email address and do not receive information that directly identifies you. These providers are contractually required to process information solely to support the operation and improvement of the service.

Anonymous behavioral interaction signals used for product improvement are never linked to identifiable email addresses.
No identifiable health records or clinical data are shared with any third party for any purpose.

5. Data Retention

Email addresses: Retained until the invite process concludes or you request removal.
Functional cookies: Expire automatically after the timing interval elapses.
Journey state (local browser storage): Persists on your device across visits. Upon completion of Round 4, a preview-exhausted flag is retained so future visits correctly reflect that the preview has concluded. This data remains on your device until you clear your browser's local storage, use a different device, or until a future version of the experience resets it.
Anonymous behavioral interaction signals: Collected as individual anonymous events and retained in analytics systems in de-identified form to improve the reflection experience. These signals are never associated with email addresses or personal identities.

6. Your Choices

You may:

Decline to provide an email address.
Disable cookies and clear local browser storage through your browser settings. Note that doing so may reset your round progress.
Request removal of your email address from our invite list at any time by contacting: contact@zelynhealth.com

7. Children's Privacy

The Naya™ preview experience is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us at contact@zelynhealth.com.

8. HIPAA Notice

The Naya™ early preview does not collect identifiable health records, create clinical profiles, integrate with any healthcare provider, or provide medical advice. Therefore, it does not trigger HIPAA requirements at this stage. HIPAA compliance will be required if provider integrations, patient record storage, or clinical services are introduced in future versions.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Naya™ experience evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with the revised date. This policy applies specifically to the early preview; future product versions will be governed by updated policies.
